Stéphane Garneau’s career in the IT world took off very early in his life. He wasn’t yet 16 when he set up his first IT company.

In 2009, he acquired Micrologic, which initially sold computer equipment. In less than a decade, the company developed several business clusters to meet the needs of thousands of customers in the private and public sectors. True to his reputation as a visionary, in 2014 Stéphane leveraged the potential of the cloud and launched Cirrus, a Canadian 100% sovereign cloud, in a market occupied almost exclusively by global industry giants. Today, it’s the largest sovereign cloud in the country, serving large private and public organizations. Under his leadership, the company has generated over $1.5 billion in revenues, seen its sales increase tenfold, and grown from a staff that could be counted on two hands, to hundreds of experts.

Stéphane Garneau is a thoughtful leader who has propelled the company to the ranks of Quebec’s top SMEs, and then to one of Quebec’s top 300 companies in 2024 and one of Canada’s largest IT providers. The Association québécoise des technologies and Les Affaires both named him CEO of the Year in 2022. In 2024, he was a finalist for EY Entrepreneur Of The Year.

In addition to his entrepreneurial success, Stéphane is known for his human-centric approach, his empathy and his authenticity. His employees are proud to be part of the Micrologic team, but above all, they’ll tell you that they’re happy to work “for and with Stef.”

Guy Gagnon holds a Computer Science degree and several additional professional certifications. He has worked in the IT sector for nearly three decades. Over the years, he has leveraged his extensive background, keen analytical mind and holistic vision to deliver innovative solutions for companies of all sizes.

He carefully oversees all Micrologic activities as Executive Vice-President, driven by a passion for improving organizations’ IT.

Marie-Hélène is a true intrapreneur who believes family values play a key role in a company’s success. She has a background in industrial relations and over 13 years’ experience in human capital management within service and IT companies.

She also has over 8 years’ experience in various administrative, event planning, representation and knowledge sharing roles within the entrepreneurial community. Her number-one mission is to promote Micrologic and keep her valued colleagues happy.

Marie-Claude has over 10 years’ experience in finance and administration, mainly in the IT sector. She began her career as an auditor with a large firm before moving on to an international company with sales of almost $90 million. She is a passionate, results-oriented intrapreneur who is motivated by her team’s enthusiasm and commitment to exciting corporate projects.

As a leader she focuses on sound management and continuous growth. She has developed solid expertise in M&A and due diligence, having completed three major transactions in the last three years. She has also facilitated various types of financing, including traditional and non-traditional bank financing.

She excels at streamlining workflows, managing financial and administrative functions, and guiding teams through change. Her skills in Canadian and international taxation, her organization and her ability to mobilize teams are widely recognized. She loves using new technology to continuously improve business processes and organizational performance.

An energetic, inquisitive and inspiring intrapreneur, Jean-Sébastien Guy leads the company’s sales and marketing strategy, including the teams responsible for the customer journey. This includes marketing, business development, sales, pre-sales, renewals and customer experience.

He is committed to creating value for the Canadian economy and motivated by the pursuit of excellence, without losing sight of the most important thing of all: the people behind it.

He has over 20 years’ experience in the thoughtful growth of IT companies, with a deep understanding of operations, finance and customer experience.

Before joining Micrologic, he was President of Korem Géospatial and served on various boards and advisory committees.

Patrice holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Université Laval in Québec City and is currently Vice-President of AI at Micrologic. With over 25 years’ experience, he has a successful track record leading organizations that provide world-class cloud solutions. Before joining Micrologic, he worked with major companies including Taleo, Oracle, Halogen and Optel Group.

With over 20 years’ experience in cloud computing and software development, Philippe has held senior positions in large organizations, including Halogen Software and Kinaxis, where he was Vice-President of SaaS Operations and IT Infrastructure. He was also responsible for global expansion projects (in America, Europe and Asia), developing the security and governance practice, and implementation.

Philippe holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Université Laval in Québec City.

Sébastien leverages his 20 years of IT experience to support users’ needs by pinpointing their concerns and turning them into business solutions. He is an expert in systems administration, from planning and deployment to maintenance. He has extensive knowledge of organizational transformation, network management and network security.

As a committed leader with over 30 years’ experience in IT, Pierre has been mobilizing and leading sales teams to success for over 15 years. His solution-orientedness, positive attitude and meticulous planning have been key to his success as a sales strategy professional. An avid lifelong learner, he has completed a bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree in management, and a management coaching certification all while working. He is passionate and interested in everything, and his priority is the well-being of the people around him.

Karine is a sales and cloud computing expert with over 25 years’ experience in the IT industry. She currently holds the position of Vice-President, Cloud Sales at Micrologic, where she helps develop and implement the marketing strategy for this innovative offering.

Previously, she was an account director for the government sector, where she was responsible for sales and business development for this strategic customer base. She also worked as Executive Director, Public Sector at Métafore Technologies, where she managed partner and supplier relations.

Karine also holds VMware VSP certification and has experience in new market development, sales operations and direct sales. Her mission is to provide cloud solutions tailored to public organizations’ needs and challenges, while fostering collaboration, trust and customer satisfaction. She has the vision, creativity and expertise to meet the challenges and opportunities of the cloud computing market.

Stéphan is recognized for building sustainable, innovative growth, grounded in operational excellence and a customer-first mindset. With more than 25 years in IT, he combines strategic vision with strong execution. A motivating leader, founder, and builder, he merged his cybersecurity company in 2007 and then continued his journey for more than 15 years as an executive partner, eventually serving as President for nearly a decade.

As a board member for several organizations, he has strengthened his expertise in governance, risk management, and compliance. He stands out for his ability to rally high-performing teams, deliver complex projects, and foster a healthy performance culture rooted in collaboration and satisfaction for both employees and customers. His experience has been built across a diverse client base, with an approach that is rigorous, people-focused, and results-driven.

Élisabeth has a degree in psychoeducation and 20 years’ experience working with a wide range of clientele. She has solid expertise in team management, and her experience has led her to develop a real passion for human resources management and the employee experience.

She is known for her empathy, her insight, her desire to make her colleagues’ daily experience as enriching as possible, and her profound belief in the full potential of each individual.

With a master’s degree in regional development, Natacha Jean has over 20 years’ experience in developing and implementing strategic plans in the fields of economic development, entrepreneurship and education. She is known for her leadership and her ability to mobilize key players and generate results. She has directed several emerging provincial organizations, including the Défi Osentreprendre and, more recently, Lab-École. With her boundless energy and enthusiasm, she now contributes to the development and growth of Micrologic, a Canadian company that rivals the Tech Giants.
